sun and son

wednesday 13Safar 1429H = 20feb 2008 @ 445pm

it happened yesterday morning...
just left home for office,
a bright morning, while driving and facing the sun

i remembered those mornings when i drove my son to school
at one point, as we were approaching his school
we'll be facing the sun

......so yesterday morning, in the morning heat and bright sun
my memories run to him

about a minute's drive, i passed by a school-field where the
boys were playing in the field for their P.E.
how not i remembered my boy
i felt so close to him...

...continued driving till i make a left turn just before the bridge
an oncoming MPV with a familiar plate-number
mine is WMX ***6, whilst the MPV's WMX ***8
it belongs to his school-mate, and we always bumped into each other
at the school's compound

what a day to start...my heart melts
i miss you, dear
miss you so much...
